Feed the Need Regatta

The Feed the Need Regatta kicks off the BBYRA Junior Sailing Regatta Season. We also give back to the community by donating non-perishable food items to the local food bank. Please bring a non-perishable food item with you to the regatta to the designated Food Pantry Donation Tent. The junior sailing program with the most donations will be awarded with a pizza party!

This regatta is available for the following fleets:

• Optimist (red, blue, and white)
• Sunfish (Sunfish Sailors will be eligible to compete in NJ State Junior Sunfish Championship under two age groups: ages 8-13 and ages 14-17)
• Laser 4.7
• Laser Radial.

We are not offering a course for double-handed sailing. Please make note there will be no GREEN fleet available for the Optimist Fleet.

Entry Fee: $60 for Single handed entries. Same day entries will be accepted at PBYC on the race day up to close of registration. Same day entries are not guaranteed a regatta shirt. 

When Registering, you must include your child's SAIL NUMBER.

Registration fee includes; lunch, commemorative tee-shirt and awards if applicable.  Additional lunches and tee-shirts for visitors are available in the online store.

1015: First Warning Signal all Classes.  Races to follow
 
Lunch break will be on land. Additional races to follow (if needed)

Five (5) Races are scheduled. One race constitutes a Regatta.
