Pintwood Derby

Start your engines and crack open a cold one- it’s time for Pine Beach Yacht Club’s Pintwood Derby: Clear the Cooler Night! Watch miniature wooden masterpieces race down the track as competitors chase bragging rights, and we all take on the noble task of emptying the beer cooler before the new season. Whether you’re racing, cheering, or simply enjoying the waterfront atmosphere, this is a night you won’t want to miss.

How to Participate

Build & Race: Feeling competitive? Sign up to race! We’ll order you an official Pintwood Derby car kit, then it’s up to you to design, build, and fine-tune your masterpiece in hopes of racing your way to glory, bragging rights, and eternal dock-talk fame.

Cheer & Chill: Not interested in building a car? No problem! Come out to watch the races, cheer on your favorites, enjoy a cold drink, and help us “clear the cooler.” No tools required—just good vibes.

Light fare will be served (wraps and sandwiches). The bar will be open (cash only) in support of our Clear the Cooler mission.

Race participants must sign up by Tuesday, January 20th.
